Very clean pleasent little place. All of our food was delicious!
Amazing! We ordered margaritas which were awesome. Salsa and chips were fantastic. Guacamole for an appetizer, get the chunky version you will NOT regret it. Enchiladas were sooooo good and the California burrito was to die for. Wish we were staying longer because this would totes be my lunch spot!
1. The best chipotle chicken I've ever had 2. Best churros I've ever had. 3. Best ice cream I've ever had (cinnamon flavored?) 4. Service was friendly and welcoming. If you live anywhere within 50 miles of this place and it isn't on your list of things to try, you better put it on there now.
Delicious food, friendly service, and a friendly atmosphere. We took the family here when passing through. There's a bar, but it's separate from the dining area. My burrito was completely stuffed with meat, good chicken, steak and shrimp. Not cheap stuff from a can! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Thank you!
Warmly greeted as we entered. Hostess immediately took us to our table. Great atmosphere. Mexican music playing in background. We didn't have to wait long for our food. I believe about 10 minutes. Food is superb. I think I've just found my new favorite Mexican Restaurant. I know I will be back here again. Front entrance is level with parking lot for easy wheelchair accessibility.
The restaurant was very clean and spacious! The bathrooms were even clean and smelled nice! The food was very good, and if you enjoy spicier salsa, ask for their hot salsa; it’s delicious! The service was great and there was no wait on a table or for our drinks/chips to be refilled.
This is our go-to spot for mexican food since we moved to Athens. A huge selection of vegetarian dishes and every other kind of dishes for that matter. It's always fresh, hot and delicious. Not to mention reasonably priced. My wife and I had dinner as I'm writing this and our bill was 28.51. 2 people eating for under 30 is unheard of even if you eat fast food. Never had a bad experience here and that's what keeps bringing me back. I've never had any drinks here but the beer and mixed drink list is huge, so if that's your thing then you're in luck!
Enjoyable for a quick bite of lunch on a Saturday in Athens. It wasn’t very busy and our food was made to order, delicious. They were not doing much bar business, but could easily have handled a big party. El Jinete has a spacious patio area for outside dining, although we did in fact sit inside. The staff were kind and more than capable of handling our questions. Nice place to just “stop by” spur of the moment and I’m glad we did! Thank you
